In order: United States (particularly Southeast), South America (Venezuela, Guyana, Peru, Bolivia), Southeast Asia (Bangladesh, Indonesia), Papua New Guinea, Africa. Some marine collections (particularly deep-sea Gulf of Mexico), but largely freshwater.
